NCARB is seeking an experienced and user-focused Product Manager to join our Information Systems team. As Product Manager, you will lead the ongoing development and growth of Lineup Management, LLC, working closely with a small team of developers, as well as sales and client management teams, to deliver intuitive, impactful solutions that advance Lineup’s mission and drive business growth. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with a deep understanding of user experience design and a passion for building products. Responsibilities
Consult with and keep the supervisor informed on the status of all projects Build coalitions internally and externally to share best practices and achieve common goals Facilitate cooperation and teamwork throughout the organization Communicate and operate in an open manner so that information and actions are clear and visible Embrace ownership and take responsibility for the outcomes Follow through on commitments; be open to feedback and flexible to changing needs, priorities, and resources Participate in outreach events as needed Treat customers and colleagues in a fair and equitable manner Reinforce organizational branding throughout the Council Consistently exercise sound judgment; provide professional, expert, courteous, respectful, and responsive service Assist the AVP of Product in developing and executing the product strategy, ensuring alignment with the Council’s mission, vision, and goals Own the full product lifecycle for Lineup, from ideation and strategy to launch and continuous improvement Collaborate with engineering, sales, and client management to align on product vision, roadmap, and delivery Champion user-centered design by conducting user research, synthesizing feedback, and ensuring a seamless, engaging experience Lead agile ceremonies, write user stories, prioritize the product backlog, and ensure timely releases Gather requirements and translate insights into actionable product enhancements Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to inform product strategy Partner with sales and client management to develop go-to-market strategies, support onboarding, and drive customer success Develop and maintain product documentation Define and track KPIs to measure product success Advocate for inclusive product design and volunteer management practices Qualifications
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of product management experience, ideally with SaaS platforms or B2B products Demonstrated expertise in UX design, including user research, prototyping, and usability testing Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition Technical depth to communicate with development teams; understanding of frontend web frameworks (Angular or React) a plus Proven track record of managing entire product life cycle Excellent communication skills across engineers, marketing, sales, QA, stakeholders, and leadership Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Lean, Kanban) Understanding of database architecture (SQL) a plus Ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision Benefits
