Overview
The Channel Development Manager (CDM) for Federal will build and manage relationships between Rubrik and key Federal partners. You will work with cross-functional teams across Rubrik’s Field Sales, Systems Engineering, Channel Marketing, Field Marketing, Alliances and Sales Operations to attain and exceed sales performance goals. Day-to-Day
CDMs will grow the Federal channel business in their regions through strategic partner planning, enablement, and driving sales acceleration and pipeline generation activities. Where You Can Make An Impact
Drive Rubrik focus around technologies/products and increase revenues and the number of Partner Initiated Deals. Manage existing and grow Distribution and Federal Channel partners to improve market and vertical sales/support coverage. Arrange account mappings and meetings with other Rubrik staff and partners to qualify target accounts and opportunities that lead to Partner Initiated Deals and POCs. Conduct Enablement sessions to train our partners' field sales/SE staff to ensure self-sufficient partners. Build strong relationships with relevant decision makers and key contacts within partners to secure strategic partnership attention. Who You Are
Hard-working, self-driven and highly motivated with strong team spirit. Solid knowledge of the Data Management / Data Protection / Storage market. Strong relationships and reputation with assigned federal partners. Ability to present to large audiences and host events with partners and end-customers. Ability to identify and initiate deals with partners and work on deals to close them with Rubrik Federal Account Teams. Ideal Background
Experience working with regional federal partners or distributors. Effective at quarterly and yearly planning of sales activities. Ability to implement marketing plans and coordinate marketing activities. Able to identify, develop and acquire new partners. Proven success in encouraging existing partners in their sales activities. Strong ability to execute channel programs. Led sales and product trainings; strong presenter at reseller and end-customer events. Experience running sales activities with partners and assisting partners in identifying opportunities and closing projects. Team player with ability to report numbers, activities, and forecast results. Experience selling backup and recovery solutions; worked with vendors like Pure Storage, Nutanix and others to build joint solutions with Rubrik. Equal Opportunity / Inclusion
