Job Description ServiceNow Enterprise Architect
Location: San Francisco (SFO), CA (Onsite- 5 days a week)
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior ServiceNow Architect
to lead the design, development, and optimization of our ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will be responsible for defining technical architecture, building scalable solutions, and ensuring the platform aligns with business needs. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders, IT leaders, and development teams to deliver
robust, user-friendly, and enterprise-grade ServiceNow applications .
Key Responsibilities
Define and maintain the
overall architecture and roadmap
for the ServiceNow platform.
Design, develop, and implement
ServiceNow solutions
across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or other modules.
Provide
hands-on engineering expertise
to configure, customize, and integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems.
Lead
technical design reviews , ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and process owners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure platform scalability, security, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
Mentor ServiceNow developers and provide
technical leadership
across multiple projects.
Stay up-to-date on
ServiceNow releases, features, and industry trends
to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years of
ServiceNow development and architecture .
Strong expertise in
ServiceNow modules
(ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, etc.).
Proficiency in
JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS , and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, etc.).
Experience with
ServiceNow integrations
(REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, web services).
Solid understanding of
ServiceNow data models, workflows, ACLs, and performance tuning .
Familiarity with
ITIL processes and best practices .
Proven ability to design and deliver
scalable enterprise ServiceNow architectures .
Nice to Have
ServiceNow
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
and
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
certifications.
ServiceNow
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
or
Certified Technical Architect (CTA) .
Experience with
DevOps practices , CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing within ServiceNow.
Knowledge of
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise integrations.

The base salary range for this position is $106,087 - $166,709, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
