Assistant Coach, Women’s Lacrosse
Responsibilities
Support all aspects of the Olympic sport program including recruitment of qualified athletes
Coach and instruct student-athletes and monitor academic progress toward degree
Engage alumni and donors and maintain effective relationships with students, faculty, staff, parents and the public
Partner with Head Coach to execute team coaching and individual player development
Assist in scouting and preparing video for competition
Assist in budget management and team fundraising; may aid in game day management and coordination of team travel
Coordinate summer camps and clinics, including paperwork, customer service and financial reconciliation
Perform other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area plus 1 year of relevant professional experience (degree conferred by start date)
Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Preferred Qualifications
Women’s lacrosse coaching experience at an NCAA institution
College playing experience (preferably Division I)
Experience with fiscal management and daily operations of an intercollegiate athletics department
Strong organizational, management and communication skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Hiring Range $45,925.13 - $63,191.56
