Office Manager / Volunteer Coordinator
Position Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Volunteer Custodian to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and sanitary environment in our small non-profit facility. This role is vital in supporting our mission by ensuring that staff, volunteers, and visitors feel comfortable and safe in our space.
Key Responsibilities:
Sweep and mop floors in common areas, offices, and restrooms
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, shelves, and windowsills
Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
Empty and re-line trash and recycling bins
Restock restroom supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.)
Maintain cleaning supplies and notify staff when stock is low
Follow all health and safety guidelines related to cleaning
Report any maintenance issues (e.g., leaks, broken fixtures) to staff
Qualifications:
No prior experience required - training will be provided
Comfortable working independently
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Physically able to perform cleaning tasks (e.g., bending, lifting, standing for periods)
Positive attitude and commitment to supporting our mission
