Someone Should Really Do Something To Help, and I think it should be you and me, together! I need you and nine other community oriented, socially conscious individuals to help their neighbors who are blind. It's so easy... and we know exactly what they need... to access shopping for fresh fruit and vegetables, to get their mail read and their bills paid on time, and to connect to activities in the community. Requirements to be a great volunteer include: a desire to help others; a pleasant demeanor; a good reading/speaking voice; average reading skills; organizational or planning abilities; a good driving record; a clear criminal history; two references *access to a car with proof of insurance; *a minimum of $50/100k liability and $5,000 of property damage coverage. * If this doesn't work for you, we can have you take public transit together as a sighted guide.
