We are looking for a dynamic Quality Assurance Vice President to lead the way in establishing and maintaining our quality standards in manufacturing and product delivery. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for driving improvements, ensuring compliance with quality requirements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
You will oversee analytics related to internal manufacturing quality, conduct distribution center inspections, and evaluate external quality measures, all while collaborating closely with operations, sales, customer service, and our valued external customers. Your expertise will guide our transition from Quality Control to Quality Assurance, ensuring robust quality assurance standards and procedures are ingrained in our processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in quality management along with at least 10 years in lean manufacturing, specifically focusing on the deployment of lean operating systems. Proven experience in plant transformation and change management within the food manufacturing sector is essential.
Expert knowledge in Six Sigma principles, including techniques such as design of experiments and failure modes and effects analysis, is required. Proficiency in statistical software and familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts will be key to your success. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree highly preferred, and certifications in lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and project management being a strong advantage.
