Website Designer/Developer
to join our team and help improve our digital presence. Due to recent challenges with our Google Ads account, updating our website to meet Google Ads compliance standards has become an urgent priority.
The selected volunteer will play a critical role in ensuring the site is fully aligned with required policies and will work closely alongside our existing Google Ads volunteer to ensure successful integration and compliance. This is a great opportunity to use your web development skills to support a mission-driven organization while gaining meaningful experience in nonprofit digital strategy. Responsibilities: Update and maintain our existing website (currently hosted on Wix, WordPress, or a similar platform)
Ensure full
Google Ads policy compliance
across website pages and content
Improve site usability, navigation, and mobile responsiveness
Implement new features such as blogs, donation pages, and event updates
Optimize site for accessibility, SEO, and user engagement
Collaborate with our Google Ads volunteer and media team to align design and content
Qualifications: Experience with website platforms such as Wix, WordPress, Squarespace, etc.
Familiarity with
Google Ads website compliance
is highly preferred
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript is a plus
Strong design sense with a focus on usability and accessibility
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with a remote team
Passion for mental health advocacy or nonprofit work
Time Commitment: Approximately 3-5 hours per week
Flexible schedule
Minimum commitment of 3 months preferred
