Position Overview
The Find Community Connection Project (FCCP) is seeking a motivated intern or volunteer with an interest in
IT management, computer science, or information systems
to help oversee our website and digital data systems. This role goes beyond just updating content - it provides hands-on experience in
platform management, system administration, and digital operations . You’ll work on maintaining our
Wix website , supporting
data tracking systems
(event, volunteer, and program spreadsheets), and ensuring that FCCP’s digital presence is reliable, user-friendly, and aligned with our organizational needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or emerging professional exploring
IT management
to apply technical, organizational, and leadership skills in a nonprofit environment.
Responsibilities Website & Platform Oversight
Regularly update and maintain the FCCP website (Wix) to ensure all content is current, accurate, and functional.
Monitor and troubleshoot website issues, providing technical support as needed.
Implement updates to improve usability, design flow, and accessibility.
Data Systems & IT Support
Manage and maintain organizational spreadsheets, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
Provide technical support to staff and volunteers regarding digital tools and platforms.
Help streamline workflows and recommend process improvements for digital systems.
Content & Optimization
Upload new program content, event information, and multimedia (blogs, photos, videos).
Apply
basic SEO
strategies and track website analytics to support visibility and performance.
Collaboration & Project Support
Partner with program and communications teams to ensure the website and systems reflect FCCP’s mission.
Contribute IT insight to special projects and help staff adopt new digital tools.
Skills and Qualifications
Education/Interest:
Computer science, IT, information systems, or related fields.
Technical Skills:
Experience with Wix or other website platforms; comfort with spreadsheets and online tools.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions.
