Maintenance Technician - Direct Hire Day or Night Shift Available $32 – $38/hour | Indianapolis, IN
Aegis Worldwide is actively hiring skilled Maintenance Technicians for our food and beverage manufacturing partners throughout the Indianapolis area. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production machinery
Perform routine preventative and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and enhance equipment performance
Work closely with production and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and automated systems
Utilize CMMS software to log maintenance activities and track work orders
Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and actively participate in safety initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
Solid understanding of electrical systems including 480V, PLCs, motors, and sensors
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Strong problem-solving skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently or within a team
Flexible with shift hours, including availability for overtime when needed
