Location:
Vineland, NJ About the Role: We’re hiring a
Maintenance Technician
to support overnight operations at a fast-paced food manufacturing facility in Vineland. This is a hands-on role that blends
mechanical troubleshooting (60%)
with
basic to intermediate electrical work (40%)
to keep production and packaging lines running smoothly.

Perform
mechanical maintenance
on production equipment including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, packaging machinery, and palletizers
Conduct
routine inspections, PMs, and emergency repairs
on equipment to minimize downtime
Troubleshoot and replace belts, bearings, seals, valves, chains, and drive components
Support
electrical maintenance
including replacing sensors, limit switches, motors, and wiring up to 480V
Read and interpret
mechanical diagrams and basic electrical schematics
Use basic test equipment (multimeters) to check circuits and motor control components
Adjust machinery for changeovers and support the production team as needed
Document work orders and PMs in a CMMS system
Follow all OSHA, Lockout/Tagout, and plant safety protocols
Qualifications:
3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, food, beverage, or packaging environment
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills; comfortable with tools, fasteners, moving parts, and rotating equipment
Basic electrical skills: 3-phase motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, and simple controls
Able to read mechanical blueprints and basic wiring diagrams
Comfortable lifting 50 lbs and working at heights or in confined spaces
CMMS experience
Nice to Have:
Experience with food-grade machinery or sanitary equipment
Knowledge of glue systems, filling machines, or case packers
HVAC, boiler, or utility system exposure
