About us: NAAAP New York is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), all-volunteer, Pan-Asian American professional organization that promotes the career advancement and leadership development of Asian American professionals in all fields through professional development, community service, and social events. We are the founding chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP), with a history dating back to 1982. About the role: Serving as an integral member of the senior Executive Team, the Vice President of Strategy and Communications provides oversight to the Director of Brand Strategy, Director of Digital Marketing and Director of Technology Solutions. Together and applicable to both online and offline, the communications portfolio focuses on the development and management of NAAAP New York's organizational efforts to promote its brand and Programming to its members, corporate partners and stakeholders (members, sponsors, community partners). The VP of Strategy and Communications coordinates strategic direction with other operational areas which include Business Development and Programming. As Vice President of Strategy and Communications, you will: ·Provide oversight to Brand Strategy, Digital Marketing and Technology Solutions Committees ·Manage projects and oversee communications initiatives which include print, marketing collateral and electronic communications including website, back office, new and traditional media ·Coordinate communication strategies to other NAAAP committee objectives ·Manage a strategic communications plan to advance brand identity; broaden awareness of Programming ·Develop relations collateral material that facilitates the work of the Membership and Business Development verticals (member, corporate and community relations) ·Communications team recruitment, development and management ·Collaborate with senior leadership team to identify challenges and emerging issues for organization as a whole ·Report directly to President and EVP Why volunteer with us?
