Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Strategic Planning Manager and Staff Services Manager I, the Research Data Analyst II (RDA II) conducts complex research and analysis to develop and maintain the Division of Equipment (DOE) Career Advancement Database. Responsibilities include designing user-friendly dashboards, leading research projects, analyzing data, and providing technical assistance for strategic projects.

Eligibility for hire depends on exam scores. Applicants must be on the state examination list or eligible for transfer, reinstatement, or other listed eligibilities. To apply, click here and search by classification.

Working Conditions

Position located at 3400 R St., Sacramento, CA.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license when operating a state vehicle.
• Statement of Qualification (SOQ) required, responding to specified questions, not exceeding two pages, 12-point font.

Applicants must meet the qualifications in the Class Specification. Verification of eligibility will be done prior to interview. Foreign degrees require an evaluation report from an approved agency.
