Role Overview

We’re seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to partner closely with our Controller/CFO (me), supporting key accounting functions across a growing, collaborative team. Bring your foundation in accrual accounting and accounting theory to help streamline processes, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement. This role offers broad exposure, development opportunities, and a supportive culture.

Key Responsibilities

• AR & Collections: Prepare invoices, apply payments, follow up with customers to support timely collections.

• AP Processing: Enter invoices, process vendor payments, reconcile purchase orders/accounts, and support audit-ready documentation.

• Accrual Accounting: Record journal entries (accruals, prepaids, depreciation, etc.), assist with monthly close and account reconciliation.

• Excel & Data Analysis: Build and maintain spreadsheets 

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with sales, operations, and administration to support billing, documentation, and internal reporting.

• Process Documentation: Help document accounting procedures and internal controls; propose efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or 1–2 years of accounting experience.

• Accounting Foundations: Comfortable with accrual accounting principles and basic accounting theory.

• Tech Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel 

  • Familiarity with Quickbooks Online software is a plus.
