Flutes Hanna Ave., LLC., an affiliate of Schwarz Partners and a leader in the corrugated manufacturing industry, currently has a Staff Accountant position available in Indianapolis, IN. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, preparing daily reports, assisting in monthly and yearly closing processes, and supporting financial audits.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage accounts receivable: generate, review, and send invoices to customers using accounting software.
- Prepare weekly A/R aging summaries and review them with the Controller.
- Assist with past due accounts by communicating with customers regarding overdue invoices.
- Review and issue credits as necessary.
- Process customer rebates.
- Compile and enter shift reports into daily reports.
- Generate reports related to production, consumption, invoicing, and on-time delivery.
- Manage accounts payable: review and approve invoices, code and post to General Ledger, and ensure timely payments with discounts.
- Maintain vendor files, including current W9 or COI as needed.
- Assist the Controller in preparing budgets and additional reports, and fulfill informational requests from the corporate office.
- Serve as backup for the Controller.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- At least 2 years of experience as an accountant.
- Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting systems.
- Typing speed of at least 10-key by touch.
