Pride Health is hiring an Administration - HR Service Center Rep I to support our client’s medical facility in Tampa, FL 33617. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Base pay range
$18.00/hr - $19.00/hr
Schedule: M-F 9:30am - 6pm
Duration: 3+ months (with potential for extension)
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Service Center Representative to serve as the first point of contact for inbound HR-related inquiries. This role supports employees by responding to questions about benefits, policies, employee relations, recruitment, learning & development, and performance management. You\'ll handle Tier 1 inquiries via phone, email, and other channels—escalating complex cases when needed—and maintain accurate records of each interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of incoming calls in a call center environment.
- Respond to employee inquiries via phone, email, or fax using a knowledgebase and standard protocols.
- Provide accurate and timely information regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain thorough and accurate case records in the Case Management System.
- Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 or supervisors when necessary.
- Support data entry and retrieval in HR systems (HRIS) while protecting confidentiality.
- Educate employees on available HR tools and resources.
- Ensure all interactions reflect excellent customer service, respect, and professionalism.
- Perform other HR-related administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in HR administration and/or a call center environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s Degree (preferred).
- Strong understanding of call center metrics and performance standards.
- Familiarity with HR systems like HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems, and HR Reporting tools (e.g., Business Objects).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM while managing phone interactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Commitment to confidentiality, data accuracy, and compliance with applicable regulations.
