Overview


Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Processor with HR Generalist experience to lead our bi-weekly payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now. While the primary responsibility of this role is accurate, end-to-end payroll execution, the position also supports broader HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations.


Base pay range


$20.00/hr - $35.00/hr


Responsibilities



  • Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now, including updates to team member data, timekeeping review, deductions, and audits.

  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and internal policies.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related matters, including reconciliations and reporting.

  • Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to onboard new hires and ensure timely payroll and benefits setup.

  • Support benefits enrollment, changes, and questions, including open enrollment.

  • Maintain accurate and compliant team member records and assist with audits and policy updates.

  • Respond to employee inquiries and assist with team member relations and engagement efforts.

  • Assist with job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling when needed.

  • Maintain and manage employee data in ADP and other HR platforms.

  • Prepare regular reports on payroll, headcount, and compliance metrics.


Qualifications



  • 2–3 years of hands-on payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now in a multi-state environment.

  • Background in general HR functions such as onboarding, benefits, or compliance.

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and labor laws.

  • High attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.


Preferred



  • Experience with additional HR systems or ATS platforms.

  • Prior work in a law firm or professional services setting.

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification, or willingness to pursue.
