Overview

Be the People Champion Behind 30+ Hotels Across California. As a Human Resources Director, lead HR operations, ensure compliance, and drive culture and performance across all properties.

This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong knowledge of California labor laws and a passion for people and hospitality. Office-based role in San Diego.

Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr

What you’ll do

  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations across our hotel portfolio
  • Advise managers and staff on employee relations and HR best practices
  • Maintain and enforce compliance with California labor laws
  • Lead policy development, performance management, and training initiatives
  • Manage employee discipline and terminations with professionalism
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture

What we’re looking for

  • 2+ years in an HR management role (hospitality experience required)
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and CA employment laws
  • Experience with Paycom is a plus
  • Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Discreet, proactive, and solution-oriented
