Job Description Verdantas is seeking a Civil Engineer with a geotechnical focus in Fort Worth, Texas, to support field-intensive projects through data collection, site inspections, and technical design. This role includes preparing health and safety plans, analyzing field and lab data, and assisting with cost estimates and documentation. This position is ideal for a motivated self-starter eager to grow in a dynamic, travel-heavy consulting environment. Responsibilities Prepare or assist with preparation of health and safety plans, and implement health and safety plans, including client-specific requirements and documentation such as forms and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs). Collect and interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods. Assist in preparing detailed plans and technical specifications. Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods. Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation. Perform other engineering-related tasks for projects (e.g., designs, drawings, site inspections) under the supervision of senior engineers. Able to travel up to 90% of the time. Qualifications B.S. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering (M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferred). 0-2 years of consulting Geotechnical Engineering experience. Ability to speak and write professionally. Highly motivated, self-starter with the desire to learn quickly and succeed professionally. E.I.T. or P.E. strongly preferred.
