Jr. Mortgage & Consumer Loan Processor

This position is responsible for in depth knowledge of the loan origination workflow, emphasizing its critical impact on the mortgage process. Review incoming applications, deliver initial and revised disclosures in accordance with regulatory and agency guidelines, submit files for credit decision, and fulfill rate lock requests.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:15am-5pm
38-40 hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and verify loan applications for completeness and accuracy. Draft and deliver initial disclosure documentation in accordance with loan programs, regulatory requirements, investor guidelines, and bank policy. In-depth knowledge of the loan origination workflow is a must. Strong understanding of loan products, terms, fees, and closing costs. Prepare thorough loan files for credit decision and closing documentation. Interact with loan officers, underwriters, and borrowers to ensure a smooth and efficient loan application process. Needs to be proactive and solution focused. Complete rate lock requests for secondary market loans. Communicate/coordinate closing details with title companies. Prioritize pipeline tasks based on time sensitive factors. Support loan closer with preparing and executing closing disclosures and final documents. Any other duties as assigned. Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, Anti-Money Laundering/Countering the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT Act) and the requirements of the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Additionally, all employees must follow policies and procedures to minimize risk by exercising good judgment, raising questions to management, and adhering to policy guidelines. 1+ Years ICE Mortgage Technologies Encompass experience Experience with Pricing Engine Integrations, Mavent, TRID. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of lending processed and financial documents. Critical Competencies:
