About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and driven

Hardware Design Engineer

to join our innovative team in

Vernon Hills, IL . In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of

mixed signal hardware systems , with a primary focus on

hardware board design . You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and scalable hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop

mixed signal circuitry , including analog and digital components. Select and specify appropriate components and parts based on design requirements. Lead and contribute to

hardware board design , including

schematic capture ,

PCB layout , and

prototype validation . Perform testing, debugging, and verification of hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Work collaboratively with software, mechanical, and test engineers to support seamless

hardware-software integration . Create and maintain technical documentation, including

design specifications ,

test plans , and

validation reports . Stay current with emerging hardware technologies and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in

mixed signal circuit design . Strong understanding of

PCB layout principles , hardware debugging, and validation techniques. Proficient in using

hardware design and simulation tools

(e.g., Altium, OrCAD, SPICE). Excellent analytical and

problem-solving skills

with a strong attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a

collaborative team environment . Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree

in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Experience with

high-speed digital design ,

signal integrity , and

power integrity analysis . Familiarity with

compliance standards

(e.g., FCC, CE) and

EMI/EMC design considerations . Experience working in regulated industries or with product certification processes.
