Position Summary

Branch's Civil Division is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Heavy Duty Truck Driver to join our established and growing company. The driver operates heavy-duty trucks designed for off-road transportation of earth, rock, or bulk materials, including equipment like back/rear/end dump or bottom dump trucks.

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Service and perform normal operating adjustments on equipment
2. Routine fueling, lubrication, and maintenance
3. Clean equipment and work area
4. Operate controls of the truck
5. Position truck for loading and unloading
6. Dump or offload materials
7. Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction techniques
• 1 to 3 years of heavy-duty truck driving experience
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
• DOT experience preferred but not required

Physical Demands

The physical demands include handling, feeling, or operating objects, tools, or controls; standing, talking, hearing; walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, tasting, and smelling. Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Position Details

This full-time role typically involves 40+ hours weekly, with on-call availability during early/late hours for delays, weather, or emergencies.
