Responsibilities
- Transport heavy equipment and construction materials (rocks, sand, stone, wood, debris) to/from job sites
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and perform minor maintenance checks
- Operate and load/unload skid steers, mini excavators, and other machinery
- Assist job-site managers with dump runs and supply pickups
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols on and off-site
- Plan delivery routes, adjusting for traffic and schedule changes
- Keep accurate delivery and maintenance logs per state and federal regulations
- Help maintain truck cleanliness and secure the vehicle at the end of shifts
- Support other field labor as needed to meet project demands
Qualifications
- 5+ years of truck/trailer driving experience (required)
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record (required)
- Strong mechanical skills for minor repairs and preventive checks
- Experience operating skid steers, compactors, and related equipment
- Basic knowledge of construction and landscape materials
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Able to lift and move 80 lbs regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
- Knowledge of local jobsite operations and road safety practices
