Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily routines and activities for infants, focusing on their safety, comfort, and development.
- Provide individualized attention to each infant, helping with feeding, diapering, and other personal care needs.
- Engage infants through age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, physical, and emotional development.
- Foster a warm and nurturing environment, creating a positive atmosphere for both children and parents.
- Assist in monitoring infants progress and report observations to the lead teacher.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Support the lead teacher in maintaining communication with parents regarding their childs daily experiences and milestones.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred).
- Previous experience working with infants or in a childcare setting is a plus.
- Strong understanding of infant care and early childhood development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- A nurturing, patient, and positive attitude.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience working with infants (6 weeks to 12 months) in a childcare or early childhood setting.
- Familiarity with infant developmental milestones and appropriate learning activities.
