Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for infants (ages 0-3). You will foster early childhood development by creating age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, strong communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care and Supervision: Ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of infants throughout the day, including feeding, diapering, and offering emotional support.
- Early Learning Activities: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that stimulate infants' sensory, motor, and language development.
- Monitoring Development: Observe and track developmental milestones, noting progress and areas for improvement, and share this information with parents during regular updates.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that supports the individual and group needs of infants.
- Parental Communication: Build strong relationships with parents, providing updates on their childs development and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with fellow educators and staff to ensure a cohesive approach to early childhood education and a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification or degree preferred.
- Previous experience working with infants or in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing attitude.
