Local Network/System Administrator
Discover an exceptional opportunity at Lincoln Tech as a Local Network/System Administrator. Take charge of managing and maintaining our campus, playing a pivotal role within our corporate-wide team dedicated to the reliability and availability of data and communication infrastructure. As the primary support contact for Lincoln's administrative and educational staff, you'll deliver a high level of service to ensure seamless operations for both our staff and students. Responsibilities of a Local Network/System Administrator: Install applications (for example Microsoft Office or Adobe Acrobat) Configure email client software to access email servers and services Perform desktop and laptop hardware and software troubleshooting Configure hardware and drivers Troubleshoot both wired and wireless network connectivity problems and provide remote hands-on support to Network Engineers Create trouble system tickets and responds to issues (e.g., Jira Service Desk) Assist in the technical training and the onboarding process for Lincoln Tech Students and Staff Other projects as assigned by Corporate IT and local campus managers Requirements of a Local Network/System Administrator: High School Diploma or GED CompTIA A+ or Network+ or equivalent experience 1+ years working in a MS Windows Desktop OS environment, installing and configuring Microsoft Windows on workstations and laptops.
