Overview Rothwell Figg, a premier intellectual property law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced patent prosecution attorney to join its patent practice in the electrical/computer fields of technology. The primary focus is patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical/computer fields, with the opportunity to work on a wide variety of intellectual property matters, including post-grant proceedings, litigation, opinions and counseling.

Prepare and prosecute patent applications in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science technologies. Contribute to post-grant proceedings, litigation support, opinions and counseling as part of a broad IP practice. Collaborate with a team of attorneys and engineering staff to develop and implement patent strategies. Qualifications
Undergraduate or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. Two to four years of patent preparation and prosecution experience. Registration to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office is required. Top academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work well on a team. Salary and Benefits The salary range for this position is $235,000 to $310,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
