Provide quality patient care in the medical imaging department. Perform high-quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. Follow standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrate leadership abilities and serve as a role model for other associate technologists. Assist during interventional breast procedures. Produce quality images in a complete, accurate and timely manner. Prepare patients for exams. Provide information and instruction to patients and/or their families regarding the procedure and respond to their physical and emotional needs. Observe patients and equipment during the procedure and document unusual occurrences and patient conditions. Communicate in writing and verbally with physicians, imaging personnel, students, and hospital staff to facilitate the continuum of care. Qualifications
Required qualifications: High School Diploma OR G.E.D. ARRT (M) or ARRT (BS) ARDMS OR NCBC OR Bone Density Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) Preferred qualifications: Associate's degree (strongly preferred) Bachelor's degree 1 year of Mammography, Breast Ultrasounds, or Bone Density experience This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations, and ordinances.
