Job Title: ServiceNow CMDB Developer
Our client is seeking a skilled CMDB Engineer-Admin to join their team for an ongoing project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the configuration management database (CMDB) to ensure accurate and reliable data that supports IT service management (ITSM) processes. The CMDB Engineer will work closely with various teams to maintain the integrity of configuration data and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:
Align the CIs to the ServiceNow CSDM structure. Develop and maintain the CMDB, ensuring accurate and up-to-date configuration data for all IT assets. Implement and manage CMDB processes, policies, and procedures in alignment with ITIL best practices. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to identify and document configuration items (CIs) and their relationships. Perform regular audits and reconciliation activities to ensure data integrity and compliance. Create and maintain documentation related to CMDB processes, workflows, and data models. Provide training and support to IT staff on CMDB processes and tools. Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into the configuration data and support decision-making. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the CMDB and associated tools. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in configuration management and CMDB administration, specifically around modeling in CMDB. Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices. Experience with CMDB tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar. Proficiency in database management and SQL. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy and integrity. Preferred Qualifications:
ITIL Foundation or higher certification. Experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Familiarity with IT asset management (ITAM) and discovery tools. Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to configuration. Additional Skills & Qualifications:

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
