Senior DevOps Engineer

Utilize industry standard DevOps tools, automation, CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Spinnaker, ArgoCD, GitOps driven deployments, Artifacts management including Jfrog, and integration with security tools. Perform deployment strategies such as blue/green and Canary. Create application deployment pipeline utilizing Helm, Kubernetes, or ECS Fargate. Decompose business requirements into technical goals using best practices. Troubleshoot container issues, inspect any connectivity and performance improvement measures utilizing RestAPI, Groovy, Python, Json and Yaml to parse large data. Work with automation tools including Ansible, Kubernetes, Chef, and Puppet. Perform cloud engineering. Integrate security best practices with automated and codified architectural patterns in the Cloud. Perform Automated Agile delivery. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union, LLC, 7001 E Belleview Ave., Denver, CO 80237. Salary: $144,290 to $183,300 per year. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems Engineering and Management, or a related field, plus 4 years of professional experience as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving Information Technology and Information Services. Must also have experience in the following: 4 years of professional experience performing Information Security; 4 years of professional experience granting role-based access within applications and enforcing a least privilege model; 4 years of professional experience securing, implementing, managing, and maintaining solutions with cloud provider environments (including AWS, GCP, OCI or Azure); 4 years of professional experience performing secure coding, scripting and automation; 4 years of professional experience utilizing IT Audit lifecycle and frameworks; 4 years of professional experience with multiple operating systems (including Linux and Windows) and various AWS hardening techniques (including Root User, Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), Private Subnets, NAT Gateways, Security Groups, Network Access Control Lists, Harden VPC Endpoints, S3 Cross Region Replication (CRR), and AWS Web Application Firewall); 4 years of professional experience implementing change control practices and building solutions in lab and development environments, and producing test cases; 4 years of professional experience utilizing cloud computing concepts; and 2 years of professional experience utilizing cybersecurity techniques and principles, including forensics, threat hunting, penetration testing, threat intelligence, Federated Identity Management, and data loss prevention.
