Customer Service Representative
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Dayton, Ohio. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to provide vital services within a non-profit organization, assisting customers with essential processes and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: Handle registration tasks using state-specific software to ensure accurate processing records. Review and verify documentation for completeness and correctness, making necessary updates as required. Assist customers in completing forms and provide clear guidance on registration procedures for records. Process and issue requests through in-person interactions or online orders, following established protocols. Manage, validate, and preserve departmental records to meet compliance standards set by state, auditing, and regulatory agencies. Edit and update records or documents as assigned, ensuring accuracy and adherence to guidelines. Coordinate with external agencies to obtain records and transfer information to relevant parties. Participate in cross-training initiatives and perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent education. Two to three years of experience in a customer service-oriented role. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel, or similar software. Strong skills in data entry, email correspondence, and handling inbound calls. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict privacy standards. Capable of working effectively during public health emergencies or crises, with flexibility regarding hours and location. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Strong communication abilities to assist customers and collaborate with team members.
