The St. Louis County Department of Information Technology is seeking a knowledgeable
System Analyst
to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to resolve customer issues. This
Hardware Support position
will be part of a team supporting all Departments in St. Louis County and collaborating with other IT divisions as necessary. The typical starting salary ranges from $55,536 to $66,643 annually, depending on qualifications and budget considerations. Providing tier 2 hardware technical support Troubleshooting and resolving issues with company-issued computers and mobile devices Installing approved software on computers for deployment Collaborating with relevant teams to resolve issues end-to-end Providing remote and deskside support for local and offsite locations Documenting issues, solutions, and maintaining records Communicating issue status and resolutions promptly Performing computer imaging and deployment Updating and creating IT documentation Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and at least one year of system analysis experience. Selection and Appointment:
A selection committee will evaluate applicants based on education, experience, supplemental questions, references, and other relevant information. Only the top candidates will be interviewed, with a minimum qualifying score of 70. Selected candidates will be instructed to complete a Conviction Questionnaire within 3 days. The top five candidates will be certified for final decision by the Department Director. All conditional offers require a drug screening at the Countys expense. How to Apply:
