Site Facilities Manager
The Site Facilities Manager leads all facility activities for Mason, Ohio site. This includes but is not limited to facility repairs, security, and building and grounds maintenance. The Site Facility Manager is responsible for training and mentoring of hourly maintenance personnel. Essential duties, responsibilities, and authorities include the following. Others may be assigned. Develop relationship with appropriate local, county, and state officials for Mason location Coordinate with Corporate Facility Manager on all site improvement plans Recommend facility upgrades/changes as required to include contract review for vendors Manage on-site vendor for the Makino Caf Assure safe facility operations and practices Facilities
Manage million dollar plus expense budgets Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for constructions and acquisitions Inspect construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications Coordinate building space allocation, layout, and communication services and mediate as necessary Coordinate all periodic services including carpet cleaning, window cleaning, office plants, pest control, and yearly required inspections of the fire suppression systems Supervise in-house and contract maintenance of all HVAC systems, including boilers/chillers/roof units Manage all repair projects for the Mason site to assure they are completed on time Implement energy, utilities, and HVAC savings programs Oversee 6S compliance activities OSHA Safety Compliance: participate in all safety committee activities Create and approve facility-related purchase orders/invoices for payment Review all vendors to assure competitive bid process and most effective vendor selection Manage all aspects of internal security systems, communication systems, and associated processes/procedures Manage all major vendors for the Mason facility including landscaping, custodial, security, and maintenance contractors Reviews work orders to determine work priorities Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, air conditioning, electric power, gas, water, and compressed air required for operations Analyzes facility's HVAC systems, computer network wiring, lighting, and other factors Coordinates yearly inspections of Boilers, Elevators, Cranes, and Fire Protections systems Purchases tools, equipment, and supplies as required for maintenance Develop new facility staff around established policies and procedures Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance Regularly assists maintenance staff in troubleshooting and repairs to keep facilities operational Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment Coordinates, with outside contractors, the removal of trash, liquid waste, metal chips/scrap, and wood Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for PPP, hiring, disciplinary actions, salary recommendations, and employee development in Mason Develops and maintains contract resources
