Role Overview

Our client seeks a seasoned litigator to join their personal-injury trial team. The successful candidate will take an active lead on complex litigation matters-drafting and arguing critical motions, managing discovery, and shaping trial strategy-while working in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Case Management: Oversee personal-injury files from complaint through verdict, including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, and dispositive motions. Motion Practice: Draft and argue motions to strike, compel, consolidate, dismiss, vacate, and for summary judgment, among others. Research & Analysis: Prepare clear, concise memoranda that outline legal issues, risk assessments, and recommended courses of action. Trial Support: Partner with the trial team on witness preparation, exhibits, and courtroom strategy; appear in court as needed. Client Communication: Explain case status, options, and next steps at pivotal moments so clients can make informed decisions. Process Improvement: Collaborate with colleagues to refine litigation workflows and firm policies. Record Keeping: Maintain organized electronic and paper files to ensure accuracy and timely completion of all assignments. Required Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic performance. 5+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in personal-injury matters. Admission to the California State Bar in good standing (mandatory). Demonstrated excellence in persuasive writing, legal research, and analytical reasoning under tight deadlines. Hands-on experience summarizing third-party records, handling discovery, taking/defending depositions, and extensive motion work. Familiarity with California Rules of Court and local practice standards; prior trial-prep exposure is a plus. Exceptional verbal communication, professionalism, and reliability. If you thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting and have a passion for plaintiff-side advocacy, we encourage you to apply. All inquiries will remain strictly confidential. Either Plaintiff or Defense experience is fine, but the role is for plaintiff's counsel.
