About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP - Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of regulatory reporting KPI/KRI metrics and the strategic dashboard creation process using Power BI. This role requires a professional with a strong proficiency in Power BI development, including data modeling, report creation, and data visualization, as well as a solid understanding of data modeling and visualization concepts. The candidate should have a background in business analysis, particularly in regulatory reporting, finance, risk management, or related business functions, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking industry. Experience with SQL and DAX for data manipulation and analysis is a plus. Core responsibilities for this position include preparing and maintaining management presentations of KPI/KRI metrics, performing data analytics reviews, and coordinating with data governance to ensure data quality and monitoring controls. The role also involves supporting governance functions over the regulatory reporting processes, including management of meetings, change management, and issue management, and handling communication with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree or professional certifications such as CPA or CFA preferred. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and communication abilities are essential for this role.
