Job Description

Imagine One Technology & Management, Ltd., is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to provide support to the US Navy. Work involves software development, implementation, and support of a large family of shore-based IT applications. The successful candidate will support the modernization of legacy applications and must be able to extract business context from end users and collaborate with technical teams to design solutions. Work will be performed on-site in Norfolk.

Experience Requirements:

• Mid-level or more years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
• Reviewing and developing product and project requirements.
• Support and participate in reviews, boards, and coordination meetings with the Integrated Project Team (IPT).
• Participate in reviews, technical exchange meetings, program planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Experience as an Agile team member using SCRUM or SAFe frameworks.
• Participate in daily triage of testing defects and analyze next steps.
• Conduct integration evaluation, functional verification tests, and defect prioritization.
• Serve as a mentor to junior staff in non-technical roles.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with effective communication skills.
• Leverage best practices in a DoD enterprise environment.
• Experience with Ship Maintenance and Ship Lifecycle Management Systems, and/or NAVSEA experience.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.

Additionally Beneficial:

• Experience with SAP Material Management.
• Experience with Ship Maintenance and Ship Lifecycle Management Systems or NAVSEA.
• Background in ERP solutions, especially government solutions, and legacy technologies.
• Shipyard experience in Norfolk, Portsmouth, Pearl Harbor, or Puget Sound Naval Shipyards.
• Knowledge of software applications, operating systems, frameworks, and data environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tailoring system engineering processes.
• Familiarity with SDLC tools such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, and Teams.

Security Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
