Automation Account Manager (Phoenix, AZ)Snapshot / Role Overview We're seeking an Automation Account Manager in Phoenix, AZ to develop and sustain relationships that drive sales and profits in building and industrial automation markets, focusing on long-term strategic partnerships. Impact Statement•Build strategic partnerships with key decision-makers in automation and smart building markets •Drive revenue growth through expanded automation service offerings and technology solutions •Shape the adoption of advanced automation technologies that improve operational efficiency •Develop market leadership in automation services and innovative technology solutions •Support customer success through comprehensive automation solutions and ongoing partnership Responsibilities•Develop and sustain relationships with clients in automation and smart building markets •Present comprehensive automation solutions including maintenance, upgrades, and optimization •Prepare proposals and contracts for complex automation projects and service agreements •Collaborate with technical teams to develop customized automation solutions •Support existing clients with expansion opportunities and technology upgrades •Attend industry events and automation trade shows to build network and generate leads •Maintain detailed account records and sales pipeline management •Coordinate with engineering teams on technical assessments and system design •Support long-term strategic planning and market development initiatives •Travel throughout Arizona and Southwest region (~30% travel) RequirementsMust-Haves•5+ years of account management experience in automation, technology, or engineering services •Strong understanding of automation systems, controls, and smart building technologies •Proven track record of managing complex, high-value client relationships •Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills •Experience with technical sales and solution development •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field Nice-to-Haves•Technical background in automation, controls, or building systems •Experience with IoT, smart building technologies, and Industry 4.0 solutions •Knowledge of energy management and building optimization •Previous experience in the Southwest automation market
