Ironworker Leads
to join their growing team in the greater Houston and surrounding areas.
Position Summary: The Ironworker Lead will oversee and work alongside crews on steel erection projects. This role serves as the bridge between the field crew and foreman, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in line with project plans. The Ironworker Lead is expected to mentor crew members, review drawings, and step into a backup foreman role as needed.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and work hands-on with a crew of ironworkers during erection, rigging, and steel installation. Interpret drawings, schedules, and verbal instructions to keep projects on track. Ensure safe work practices in compliance with OSHA and company standards. Communicate with the Foreman regarding progress, issues, and crew performance. Train and mentor less experienced crew members to build team capability. Perform tasks such as connecting, bolting, welding, and rigging steel. Assist with planning daily work activities, manpower, and equipment needs. Step into Foreman responsibilities when required. Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in steel erection or industrial construction. Prior leadership or leadman experience strongly preferred. Solid understanding of steel erection techniques, rigging, and industry terminology. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and schedules. Familiarity with tools such as spud wrenches, sleever bars, and other ironworking equipment. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Must be able to work at heights and pass a drug screen. #INDOMNI
