Crane Operators
to join their team and support ongoing and upcoming projects in the greater Houston and surrounding areas.
Position Summary: The Crane Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating mobile and/or crawler cranes to lift, move, and position structural steel, machinery, and other heavy materials. This role requires strict adherence to safety standards, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work closely with foremen, riggers, and ground crews on fast-paced construction sites.

Opportunities for overtime and career growth within the company. Work Locations: Based in Houston area (Baytown, Katy, South Houston, Cleveland). Travel required - average of 15% travel (Austin, San Antonio, DFW, Louisiana, Michigan) - per diem provided.
Key Responsibilities Operate hydraulic and crawler cranes (up to 440-ton capacity) to lift and set steel, panels, and other heavy loads. Follow all OSHA, NCCCO, and company safety guidelines at all times. Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment. Signal, communicate, and coordinate with riggers, ironworkers, and supervisors during lifts. Review load charts, rigging plans, and lift drawings to ensure safe and accurate execution. Identify potential hazards and take corrective action to prevent incidents. Maintain accurate logs of work performed, inspections, and equipment usage. Assist in rigging and other site tasks as needed to support the erection team. Qualifications: Required: NCCCO Crane Operator Certification (hydraulic and/or lattice boom crawler). Minimum 3-5 years of crane operating experience in steel erection, tilt-wall, or industrial construction. Strong knowledge of load charts, rigging practices, and lift planning. Ability to read and understand drawings, schedules, and verbal instructions. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred. Clean driving record; CDL a plus. Must be able to pass a drug screen.
