Press Brake Operator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Brake Operator
for a company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to prepare metal parts and work for a company dedicated to teaching and growing the skills of their employees.
Pay Rate $14.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with the possibility for OT
Press Brake Operator
Duties and Responsibilities • Set up and operate press brake • Select correct tooling for the job and load/install tools correctly • Read blue print and work order instructions to correctly produce parts • Account for time and work completed via written worksheets • Observe, report and document production and quality control issues • Participate in equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level • Maintain performance log books on assigned area and equipment, report deficiencies • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Requirements • Strong metal press forming and basic fabrication background • Experience in a manufacturing environment • Working knowledge and understanding of press brake operations and set up • Working knowledge of metal bending allowances, dimensional measuring and using measuring tools • Ability to work with various types of metals and forming characteristics • Demonstrated competency in basic shop math and ability to read and interpret blueprints • Ability to work well under pressure and use initiative to meet team expectations
