Sr. Project Manager - Ground-Up Projects

Position Overview
The Sr. Project Manager - Ground-Up is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of ground-up construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage ground-up construction projects from initial planning through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various stakeholders including clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee the bidding and contract negotiation processes to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients on project status and milestones.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues promptly to avoid delays and cost overruns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the commercial construction sector.
  • Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of bid processes, contract management, and scheduling techniques.
  • Experience with design-build delivery methods is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
