Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support automated manufacturing operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role emphasizes preventative and corrective maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.
Pay:
$30-$38/hr Schedule:
Rotating 3rd shift, Sunday-Friday (12-hour shifts)
Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and service of electrical systems, including wiring, panels, conduit, and wire raceways.
Maintain power and control systems for plant distribution, production equipment, and auxiliary systems.
Inspect equipment and troubleshoot issues before breakdowns occur, including motors, transformers, generators, and PLCs.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals; follow NEC, state, and local building codes.
Plan installations and coordinate with engineers and operations teams to minimize disruptions.
Provide guidance to management on equipment safety and operational concerns.
Train and mentor junior electricians as needed. Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; completion of accredited trade school.
5-7 years of industrial electrical experience in manufacturing, process plants, chemical, or oil & gas environments.
Able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and capabilities test.
Advanced math and English comprehension, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Intermediate electrical knowledge, including 480V/3PH systems; familiarity with PLCs and instrumentation.
Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
