Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to support automated manufacturing operations in a GMP-regulated environment. This role emphasizes preventative and corrective maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.
Pay: $30-$38/hr
Schedule: Rotating 3rd shift, Sunday-Friday (12-hour shifts)
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and service of electrical systems, including wiring, panels, conduit, and wire raceways.
- Maintain power and control systems for plant distribution, production equipment, and auxiliary systems.
- Inspect equipment and troubleshoot issues before breakdowns occur, including motors, transformers, generators, and PLCs.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals; follow NEC, state, and local building codes.
- Plan installations and coordinate with engineers and operations teams to minimize disruptions.
- Provide guidance to management on equipment safety and operational concerns.
- Train and mentor junior electricians as needed.
- High school diploma or GED; completion of accredited trade school.
- 5-7 years of industrial electrical experience in manufacturing, process plants, chemical, or oil & gas environments.
- Able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and capabilities test.
- Advanced math and English comprehension, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Intermediate electrical knowledge, including 480V/3PH systems; familiarity with PLCs and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
