Job Posting The primary focus of this position is to provide priority support for a new Utility Billing System. Duties include supporting the upcoming implementation of the new software; providing continuing system administration and support to the Utility Billing System, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems; handling future installation, configuration and patching; training and supporting City employees in software usage; and providing any reporting required for operations or management. Duties may also include delivering presentations on supported systems when requested. Duties will require the ability to adhere to strict deadlines working in a fast-paced, multi-task environment. As part of the Water Utilities Department, this position will be immersed in the business process and have a clear understanding of the systems they support, as well as the users.A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, with major course work in Information Systems or a closely related field and three years of compatible technology experience required. Knowledge of, or experience, with enQuesta, Itron Choice Connect AMI software, Wonderware, Configwiz, and/or Unity Pro beneficial. A résumé must be submitted with application.
