Position Overview
The
Marketing Automations Specialist
is the technical backbone of our digital marketing ecosystem, responsible for building, managing, and optimizing automated marketing systems that nurture patient relationships and drive conversions. This role combines technical expertise with marketing strategy to create seamless patient journeys through sophisticated automation, conversion funnels, and comprehensive online presence management. This role is a
complement
to our Digital Advertising Specialist, who is responsible for executing all paid digital, such as Google, Meta, OTT/CTV and other digital advertising.
You'll be hands-on with ClickFunnels, email and SMS automation platforms, and online listings management across 70+ clinic locations while supporting our rapid expansion. This position is perfect for someone who loves the technical side of marketing, thrives on systematic optimization, and wants to make healthcare more accessible through smart automation.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Automation & Funnel Development:
Design, build, and optimize conversion funnels using ClickFunnels and other funnel-building platforms Create sophisticated email and SMS automation workflows with smart segmentation based on patient behavior, location, and service needs Develop lead nurturing sequences that guide prospects from awareness to appointment booking Set up and manage automated patient communication flows for follow-ups and retention Implement dynamic content personalization across email, SMS, and landing pages Monitor funnel performance and conversion rates, making data-driven optimizations Online Listings Management:
Execute comprehensive online listings setup and management across Google My Business, Yelp, Apple Maps, and other platforms using Birdeye and manual processes Rapidly respond to listing updates, corrections, and new clinic launches Optimize listings with relevant written content, photos, videos, and multimedia assets that reflect brand standards Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone) consistency across all platforms and directories Monitor and respond to online reviews and reputation management needs Implement local SEO best practices to maximize visibility for each clinic location Create and maintain location-specific content strategies to improve search rankings Technical Implementation & Integration:
Integrate marketing automation platforms with CRM, appointment scheduling systems, and analytics tools Set up conversion tracking, UTM parameters, and attribution across all automated touchpoints Manage third-party vendors for complex automation setups while maintaining ongoing oversight and optimization Troubleshoot technical issues with automation workflows, tracking, and platform integrations Ensure HIPAA compliance across all automated patient communications and data handling Content & Asset Management:
Collaborate with design team to ensure all automated touchpoints reflect current brand standards Manage on-brand asset libraries for consistent use across all automation platforms Growth & Expansion Support:
Rapidly deploy automation systems for new clinic openings and market entries Scale existing automation workflows to accommodate business growth Support brand transition automation for newly acquired clinics Qualifications
Required Experience:
4+ years of hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or similar) Proven expertise with ClickFunnels or similar funnel-building platforms (Leadpages, Unbounce, etc.) Experience managing online listings and local SEO across multiple locations, preferably using Birdeye or similar reputation management platforms Strong technical skills with HTML/CSS, UTM tracking, and marketing technology integrations Experience with SMS marketing platforms and compliance requirements Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or related field Experience in healthcare, multi-location, or franchise marketing environments Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and appointment scheduling systems Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements for healthcare marketing Experience with Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and conversion tracking setup Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools Project management experience with complex technical implementations Personal Qualities:
Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Technical mindset with ability to learn new platforms and tools quickly Process-oriented with experience documenting workflows and creating system protocols Self-motivated and able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills for coordinating with vendors and internal teams Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Passion for healthcare accessibility and helping underserved communities What We Offer
