What You'll Do: Lead the creation and execution of productivity initiatives that deliver measurable results. Analyze workflows, conduct time studies, and identify bottlenecks to boost efficiency. Collect and analyze production data using tools like Pareto analysis, SPC, DOE, and other Lean/Six Sigma methodologies. Implement Lean Manufacturing practices (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work, SMED) to improve process flow. Partner with operators, supervisors, and leadership to standardize work and integrate best practices. Facilitate Kaizen events and workshops, training employees on CI tools and problem-solving methods. Maintain accurate documentation of improvements, process changes, and cost savings. Collaborate with plant leadership to build a roadmap toward Best-in-Class manufacturing standards. What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field). 3-5+ years of experience in process improvement, manufacturing engineering, or a related field in automotive or high-volume manufacturing. Proven success applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies in a production environment. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Minitab, or similar statistical tools. Knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, SMED, OEE, VSM) and familiarity with MES/ERP systems. Understanding of industry quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
