Construction Superintendent
The Superintendent is the on-site leader responsible for the day-to-day supervision of field operations, subcontractor coordination, schedule adherence, and quality control. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and to Uprite's high standards. This role is located in Cleveland, Ohio.
What You'll Do:
- Manage on-site operations, including subcontractor activities and daily work schedules
- Maintain a safe job site and enforce company and OSHA safety standards
- Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and sequencing to keep the project moving efficiently
- Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure work is performed to plan
- Monitor progress and provide daily/weekly reports to the Project Manager
- Lead jobsite meetings and foster a culture of communication and accountability
- Work closely with the Project Manager to address issues, resolve conflicts, and maintain budget/schedule integrity
What You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a focus on multifamily construction
- Proven track record of managing ground-up or large-scale renovation projects
- Knowledge of construction means, methods, and safety protocols
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage crews and collaborate with office staff
- Proficiency with project management and field technology tools preferred (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
