Robert Half is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to drive the successful execution of key IT and cybersecurity initiatives over the next 12 months. This role will focus on transforming the project backlog into a structured and manageable pipeline while enabling internal IT staff to concentrate on technical implementation. The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker with strong project management expertise and excellent stakeholder communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Prioritization: Develop and implement a framework to effectively manage and prioritize the project backlog.
- Project Vetting: Establish and maintain a structured process to ensure projects align with organizational goals and resource availability.
- Project Execution: Oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Resource Management: Collaborate with IT staff to allocate resources efficiently, allowing team members to focus on technical tasks.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and outcomes.
- Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of project plans, processes, and results.
- PMP or Agile Project Management certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management; experience in nonprofit or similar environments is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with IT and cybersecurity projects, systems, and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management, or a related field.

- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and managing vendor relationships.
