NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is hiring: Project Manager - Data Center

As Project Manager, you’ll lead the full lifecycle of large-scale data center construction—from preconstruction through commissioning (Levels 1–5) and final turnover. You’ll manage cost, schedule, risk, and stakeholder alignment across design, procurement, field execution, and integrated systems testing (IST).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of project delivery: preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning (L1–L5), IST, and closeout.
• Build and manage detailed schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project), tracking critical path, float, and key milestones (FAT, SAT, energization, MOPs, IST).
• Lead long-lead equipment procurement (switchgear, UPS, generators, chillers, CRAH/CRAC) and coordinate with vendors.
• Implement change control processes, manage RFIs and change orders, and maintain accurate cost forecasting and earned value tracking.
• Collaborate with design teams, commissioning agents, OEMs, and client operations to meet Tier-level redundancy goals (N, N+1, 2N/2N+1).
• Plan and supervise MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs in coordination with field teams and client stakeholders.
• Enforce QA/QC protocols and validate testing results against TIA-942 and ASHRAE TC 9.9 standards.
• Provide transparent reporting on cost, schedule, safety, quality, and commissioning readiness.
• Maintain risk registers and lead mitigation planning for supply chain, permitting, energization, and commissioning bottlenecks.
• Support safety programs on live/energized sites in partnership with field leadership.

Qualifications Required:

• 7+ years of project management experience, including 3+ years in data center or mission-critical environments.
• Proven delivery of $20M+ projects on accelerated schedules.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, critical power/cooling, BMS/EPMS, and redundancy topologies.
• Experience with commissioning (L1–L5) and IST planning/execution.
• Proficiency in Procore, Primavera P6 or MS Project, and cost management tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
