Job Summary:

The Aerospace Final Inspector is responsible for conducting detailed final inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and quality standards. This role ensures that only conforming products are approved for shipment or further processing.

Responsibilities:

Perform final inspections of finished aerospace parts and assemblies according to blueprints, technical specifications, and quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMMs to verify dimensional accuracy. Review and interpret engineering drawings, material certifications, and work orders. Document inspection results accurately using inspection checklists and quality control forms. Ensure product conformity to AS9100/ISO9001 customer-specific standards, and regulatory requirements. Identify and document non-conformances, initiate non-conformance reports (NCRs), and coordinate with appropriate personnel for resolution. Verify completion of all required in-process inspections, test records, and manufacturing steps. Assist in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure traceability and proper labeling of inspected products. Maintain a clean and organized inspection area in accordance with 5S and safety protocols. Reading blueprint. Aircraft parts Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in quality inspection within the aerospace or precision manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards, including AS9100/ISO9001 and FAA regulations. Experience conducting First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102. Experience using precision measurement tools and inspection equipment. Familiarity with quality control software and inspection documentation systems. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
